We like to think we cover most angles - experience without the dad dancing teamed with the technical and creative moves of youth. We have made it our business to find great crews, great creatives, and hopefully great friends in the process. Jacqui Doughty, MD, PRODUCER
Jacqui began as a runner in Soho working for some of the best directors around. She made it to Assistant Film Editor, cutting car commercials and then music videos, in dark, basement rooms.
Chasing some sunlight, Jacqui joined the BBC and ended up working in almost every production department, settling in BBC Learning as Director, Producer and then Series Producer. She went on to secure sabbaticals working for advertising agencies in Paris, Detroit and LA as well as securing a secondment with Children’s Television Workshop, makers of Sesame Street in New York.
While at the BBC Jacqui earned two BAFTA nominations and has subsequently been nominated a third time with Walk Tall. At the BBC she won three RTS (Royal Television Society) awards and was awarded the Japan Prize in Tokyo for various productions, and The ERA Award (Educational Resources Award) and ETMA Award (Educational Television and Multimedia Award) for her work as development Producer on BBC Bitesize.
